Please note that the pump has a pressure switch built into the pump so if it has sensed that there is a leak or a valve / tap is open then the pump will automatically run.
Please check the following :
Check in tank connections
Check that the connection from the pump ( where the black / green pipe connects to the pump ) is tight.
Check the 90 degree elbow that is also within the tank.
