    Check the water level

    [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Open the lid of the tank and check to make sure there is sufficient water.

    If you can see the top of the pump above the water level then this could be the problem.

    Is there water in the tank?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_single_image image="1224" img_size="medium" style="vc_box_shadow_3d"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][vc_btn title="YES" style="3d" link="url:https%3A%2F%2Frainhub.co.uk%2Fwhen-i-open-a-tap-the-pump-doesnt-start-dry-run%2F|title:Thankyou||"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][vc_btn title="NO" style="3d" link="url:https%3A%2F%2Frainhub.co.uk%2Fwhen-i-open-a-tap-the-pump-doesnt-start-rainwater%2F|title:The%20pump%20is%20dead%20and%20has%20no%20life%20%E2%80%93%20Circuit%20Breaker||"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

    Fill the header tank.

    [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Open the left hand door on the Rain Director Control unit.

    You will see several pipes and one of the pipes splits into two pipes, this is the mains water feed.

    On the left hand pipe ( of the two ) you will see a quarter turn valve with arrows on it. The arrows should be orientated left to right.

    Open the valve so the arrows point up and down ( it could be quite tight ) to manually fill the headet tank with mains water.

    When the header tank is full close the valve.

    Press the “Rain Drop” button on the control panel[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_empty_space height="50px"][vc_single_image image="1191" img_size="medium" style="vc_box_shadow_3d"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Has the red spanner light turned off?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][vc_btn title="Yes" style="3d" link="url:https%3A%2F%2Frainhub.co.uk%2Fred-spanner-light-is-on-final-check%2F|title:Thankyou||"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][vc_btn title="No" style="3d" link="url:https%3A%2F%2Frainhub.co.uk%2Fred-spanner-light-is-on-contact%2F|title:Header%20Tank%20is%20Overflowing%20%E2%80%93%20Contact%20%E2%80%93%20Cat5||"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
