Check the non return valve
The non return valve is located on the inlet of the pump.
Switch off the power to the pump.
Remove the black plastic strainer and connectors. If you put your finger into the inlet you should feel a pin that should freely move backwards and forwards when pressed.
Place the pump back into the water and power up the pump
