Nothing is happening with the Backup in a Box – Float Switch

Check Float Switch and Power

Plug in the AC Power Adaptor and power up the wall plug socket. If there is power going to the unit the water should start flowing for about 5 seconds and then stop. If this is the case then the unit is working.

As another check please do the following :

  • Disconnect the AC Power Adaptor
  • Disconnect the Float Switch
  • Plug in the AC Power Adaptor
  • Plug in the Float Switch

Has the unit started running for 5 seconds?
